2015: The View from Inside exhibition, FotoFest, Abu Dhabi.

2014: joined Al-Moalqat exhibition. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

2014: joined Al-Hajj exhibition in Institut Du Monde Arabe, Paris.

2013 and 2014: 21-39 group exhibition–Jeddah Saudi Arabia.

2012
: Shadia participated in Seeing is believing, a charity auction, a collaboration between Standard Chartered Bank and the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness.

2012: November, joined " One Thousand and One Night " art exhibition. Institut du Monde Arabe. Paris.  

2012: joined the controversial exhibition Le Corps Découvert (The Body Revealed) at L’Institut du Monde Arabe. Paris. 

2012: October, joined the celebration of L’Institut du Monde Arabe’s 25th anniversary, by showing an important exhibition entitled 25 Years of Arab creativity.

2012: joined Tessellation Make up, Galerri Zilberman-Istanbul- Tirki, Sep15.

2012: was short listed for The 2012 Sovereign Asian Art Prize. Nominated by Ramin Salsali private museum.

2012: joined Art Dubai, 21 March, with some of ”The Supreme Ka'aba of God" collection  tableaux. 

2011: Venice 54 art Biennale With her author sister raja she represented Saudi Arabia with the "The Black Arch” installation.

2010: Dolmun Museum She was among the artists featured as part of the cultural program of the Saudi Pavilion at the World’s Fair in Shanghai, China, called Nabat.

2008, 2009, 2010: Shadia Alem was among the artists featured on the Edge of Arabia tour moving between London 2008, Venice 2008, Berlin 2010, and Istanbul 2010.

2007: Panorama Albareh art Gallery, Bahrain.

2005: Negative No More, KUNST Museum Bonn, Germany; Institut du Monde Arabe Paris, and Cultural center, Abu Dhabi; she was among the artists featured in contemporary Arab artist Languages of the desert.
