Biography

Shadia was born in mecca Saudi Arabia, and became a well-known artist in the Arab World. She paints, photographs and creates installations. Starting as a painter, Shadia’s work switched to bigger volumes that found their way moving out of the canvas and into space.”. In part of her works Shadia documents phenomena along the years and invests them in her projects such as The Black Mirror, All is Changed 9/11, and Negative No More.

Since 2006 she chose living in France Paris to engage the social and cultural freedom in enhancing her creativity, and at the same time contribute her share of beauty and truth.  She used the healthy cultural space to continue her journey of revealing the truth and focusing on using her life struggle to produce more controversial art in the French open society.
